What data we process

When you submit a quote request, we record the details from the form (project description, location, name, email, phone). Providers record company and contact details when they register. In addition, we carry out anonymous audience measurement without identifying visitors (page views per day).

Purpose of processing

We pass on your request data exclusively to a maximum of 3 suitable, registered providers so that they can prepare a quote for you. No further disclosure or sale to third parties takes place.

Requests for locations in Germany

If you enter a German postcode in the request form, we automatically forward your request, including your contact details, to Offrendo Germany (offrendo.de), which is also operated by us. The request is then processed there and passed on to suitable providers in Germany; it is not stored in Switzerland. The form informs you of this before you submit. As an EU member state, Germany provides an adequate level of data protection.

Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies (session, cookie choice). With your consent in the cookie banner, we additionally measure the use of the platform in anonymised form. You can withdraw your choice at any time by deleting the cookies.

You will only receive the newsletter after explicitly signing up with a confirmation email (double opt-in). Every issue contains an unsubscribe link; after unsubscribing, you will not receive any further issues.

Saved requests

If you use «Save progress by email» in the request form, we store your email address and the state of the form, send you a link to continue and at most one reminder. Unused saved states are deleted after 14 days at the latest. If you start a request without completing it, we may contact you once using the contact details you have already provided in order to help you complete it; these details are anonymised after 30 days at the latest. To improve the form, we also store the selected details and the text you have written yourself for requests that were not submitted; email addresses and phone numbers in that text are made unrecognisable, and the text is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Offi chat

Questions to our chat assistant «Offi» are logged without personal reference in order to improve the answers. Only if Offi does not know an answer and you explicitly provide your name and email address is the chat history transmitted to us so that we can respond.

Marketing measurement

Only with your consent in the cookie banner do we use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure the success of our advertising. Without consent, no marketing cookies are set (Consent Mode).

Payment processing

Card payments by providers are processed via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Stripe’s privacy provisions apply.

Map display (OpenStreetMap, swisstopo)

In the provider directory, we show an interactive map of Switzerland. The map tiles are loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (tile.openstreetmap.org, United Kingdom) when the page is opened; in the process, your IP address is transmitted to this service. If it fails, tiles from the Federal Office of Topography swisstopo (wmts.geo.admin.ch) are loaded instead. Neither service sets cookies.

Returning visits

With your consent in the cookie banner, we set an anonymous cookie (offrendo_vid, one year) to recognise returning devices and improve the platform. Without consent, only a truncated, non-reversible hash of your IP address is used for this purpose; the IP address itself is not stored.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. To exercise these rights, please contact info@offrendo.ch.

Retention

Request data is deleted or anonymised once the matching process is complete, and after 24 months at the latest.
