Gianluca Civilla · Founder of Offrendo

Gianluca Civilla is a computer scientist and the founder of Offrendo.ch, Neocasa.ch and Appvolution.ch. He runs Offrendo from Näfels (GL).

The reason for Offrendo: the high cost of advertising and customer acquisition puts many SMEs under heavy pressure. Offrendo gives tradespeople and service providers an affordable way to win new customers – with no subscription and no commission, just a fixed amount per request taken on. For clients, Offrendo remains free of charge.

How does Offrendo check providers?

When providers register, we check their company details, contact details and area of activity for plausibility. This is not a professional certification and not a guarantee of a company’s quality. We block providers who receive negative feedback. Clients check references, insurance and the commercial register entry themselves.

What do request, lead and quote mean?

Request: the project description that a client creates on Offrendo. Lead: the same request from the point of view of the provider, who can unlock it. Quote: a provider’s price offer to the client. We use these terms consistently across the entire platform.

What is Offrendo?

Offrendo is a quote marketplace for Switzerland. Clients describe their project once, Offrendo informs suitable providers from the region, and up to 3 of them send a quote. The comparison takes place in one place: in the personal request area with messages and quotes.

How does Offrendo work?

In four steps: choose the category and service, describe the project (with optional photos or plans), enter the location and time frame, and leave your contact details. This takes around two minutes and requires no registration. We then inform suitable providers; a maximum of 3 can take on the request. The client compares the quotes and decides freely.

What does Offrendo cost for clients?

Nothing. The request, quotes, message window and comparison are free and without obligation. There are no hidden fees, not even when a job is awarded.

How does Offrendo work for providers?

Companies register free of charge, choose their categories and service area, and receive suitable requests by email and in the portal. Before unlocking, they see the project description, location, time frame and the number of free places. Unlocking costs CHF 19.90 and gives access to the contact details, the message window and the quote tool. There is no subscription, no basic fee and no commission.

What sets Offrendo apart from traditional referral platforms?

Firstly, the limit of up to 3 providers per request, so that clients can compare rather than having to sort through offers. Secondly, the pricing model for providers: a fixed amount per unlocked request instead of a subscription or commission. Thirdly, the handling of data: contact details are never displayed publicly and are only passed on to the providers who take on a request.

In which regions is Offrendo available?

Throughout Switzerland, in all 26 cantons, in German, French and Italian – and since October 2026 also in English. Providers define their service area by canton or radius; requests are assigned accordingly.

Which categories are supported?

42 categories: moving, cleaning, painting, electrical work, plumbing, heating, carpentry, flooring, landscaping, roofing, windows and doors, kitchen fitting, car garages, IT services, web design, photography, accounting and fiduciary services (Treuhand), security and more. How are providers selected?

By category and service area: a request goes to registered companies whose categories and region match the request. Whoever unlocks first receives one of the maximum of 3 places. Companies with a public profile appear as verified providers with logo, services and verified reviews.

What happens to a request?

It is reported immediately to suitable providers. They can unlock it while places are still free and contact the client by message, by email or – if requested – by callback. In the request area, the client sees which providers have taken on the request and receives the quotes there. After 3 unlocks, the request is closed.

How many providers receive a request?

All suitable providers in the region are informed. A maximum of 3 can take it on and see the contact details. This limit is firmly built into the system and visible to clients before they submit their request.

How is Offrendo funded?

Through providers: mainly the unlocking fee of CHF 19.90, which providers pay per request they take on, plus optional, clearly labelled «Premium» visibility for providers. Clients pay nothing. Offrendo earns nothing from the value of the job and does not sell any data.
