Market monitor methodology
Where the figures come from, how they are calculated and why small samples are not shown.
Data basis
All values come from requests actually submitted on Offrendo (no drafts, no test data) and from the information registered providers give about their category and service area. No figures are estimated, interpolated or taken from third parties.
Anonymisation
Only aggregated values are published. Names, addresses, contact details and free text from clients never appear. Places are shown only at municipality level and only when there are enough requests.
Minimum samples
An analysis appears only from 5 requests; it is indexed as a separate page from 10 requests in 90 days. Project values are shown from 5 requests with a reliable value estimate.
Median and average
Project values and response times are given as medians so that individual outliers do not distort the picture. Counts are simple totals for the respective period.
Periods
Request numbers refer to the last 7, 30 and 90 days; services and project values to the last 12 months. The data date is shown on every page.
Trends
A trend compares the last 30 days with the previous 30 days. It is shown only if both periods include at least 8 requests and the change is at least 15 %.
Updates
The cells are recalculated nightly, overall activity hourly. The “data as of” date only changes when the values change significantly.
Citing
Figures may be used freely with the attribution “Offrendo, data as of [date]” and a link to the respective page (CC BY 4.0).
