Verified providers can be recognised by the badge in their profile. All other registered companies also receive your request – you compare up to 3 quotes.

What to look out for with Moving

A removal company moves your household goods and furniture from your old home to your new one: it provides the van and crew, carries, loads and secures your belongings and, if you wish, dismantles and reassembles furniture. Many companies also offer packing materials, packing and unpacking, temporary storage, disposal and end-of-tenancy cleaning with handover guarantee.

From around three rooms, for upper floors without a lift or for distances over 30 km, hiring a company is almost always worth it. Request quotes four to six weeks before your moving date – earlier around the official moving dates at the end of March and the end of September.

A quote based on an on-site visit or a video walkthrough, stating the volume in m³, the number of movers and the hours rather than just a lump sum.
Transport insurance: have the sum insured and the excess per claim confirmed in writing.
Clear terms for waiting time, parking permits, external furniture lift and extra hours.
A removal company listed in the commercial register, with permanent staff rather than day labourers.

Frequently asked questions about the provider directory

What does “verified provider” mean?

Verified providers are registered companies that maintain a public profile with their location, area of operation and services, and take on requests on Offrendo. Reviews come exclusively from clients who were actually in contact with them via Offrendo. When they register, we check company details, contact details and service area for plausibility. This is not a professional certification, not an insurance check and not a quality guarantee.

How do I get quotes from these providers?

Describe your project once via “Request quotes”. Suitable companies from your region receive the request – three at most – and can get back to you with a quote. For you, this is free and without obligation.

Can I choose a provider directly?

In the profile you can see services, area of operation and reviews. The request goes through Offrendo so that the company receives all the information needed for a proper quote and the review remains verified afterwards.
